Right-Of-Way Details You Can Model

Here is a good example of details along the right-of-way.
In one condensed area you have two different speeder sheds, set-out tracks, a handcar (or maybe it's a trailer car), wood barrels, oil drums, replacement rails on ties and a pile of discarded oil drums.
And for added interest the lines on the line poles cross the tracks for some unknown reason.
the barrels around the telegraph pole on the left are metal drums probably for fuel or lub oil for the section motor cars keeped there.
Rail spikes and tie plates came in the smaller wood barrels like those around the sheds.

This is something you can model without devouring a lot of space.
