A Joe McMillian photo:

Caption: "Texas & New Orleans box car on the Santa Fe, Lubbock, Texas, January 7, 1964."

If you like to weather cars from prototype photos this is a great reference photo.
I noticed several items and you may notice others:
  • Worn lettering
  • Streaking from roof runoff
  • Rust/grime on the vertical rivet lines
  • Scuff marks above the ladder rungs
  • Patch paint
  • Chalk marks
  • Caked grease/dirt on wheel faces
  • Paper fragments on the placard board
  • Four rusty bolt fragment where the placard board previously was located
  • Scrape marks from opening the door
